Electrical / Electronic Engineer - Site Supervision Engineering

T.E.A.M Nigeria Ltd. is seeking an experienced Electrical / Electronic Engineer for buildings and infrastructure site supervision on the Kaduna-Kano and Kano-Maradi-Dutse projects (Stations buildings, services buildings and external networks). The successful candidate will oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of all the project electrical systems, ensuring compliance with approved project documents (designs, drawings, standards, specifications, reports, agreements, meetings, employer directives, and industrial best practices) while adhering to project management directives

Job Description

  1. Review and assess project documents, providing guidance on installation requirements, electrical materials selection, and potential challenges before work execution.
  2. Conduct regular site inspections tests to ensure electrical installations and materials comply with approved project documents and industry standards.
  3. Identify and resolve on-site technical challenges while ensuring quality control.
  4. Monitor project progress and prepare technical reports and compliance documentation.
  5. Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of Earthing, wiring, Fire Alarms, power distribution, transformers, lighting, and control systems, along with all other electrical activities.
  6. Maintain clear and effective communication between key project stakeholders (contractor, client, consultant) to ensure smooth project execution.

Job Requirements
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering.
  2. 5 - 10 years of experience in Electrical system installation and commissioning for buildings and infrastructure project.
  3. Strong knowledge of Earthing, wiring, Fire Alarms, power distribution, transformers, lighting, and control systems, along with all other electrical activities.
  4. Familiarity with safety and quality control standards.
  5. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
