JOB BRIEF The typical profile that T.E.A.M. (Nigeria) Ltd generally seeks as Senior Geologist, for Work Supervision Office, is an Applied Geologist (Master), with experience in work supervision of roads, railways, piling, foundations, support works, embankments, slope protection, drainages and gained experience in planning and control of geotechnical investigations and laboratory tests.
The activities will include:
Vetting/Checking of design drawings, according to international standards (and most
suitable technical parameters/solutions applicable to the specific project), prior to the
construction phase;
Technical comments issued, regularly on the basis of the design vetting activities;
Coordination of the different disciplines involved in the project such as, for example,
alignment, permanent way, structures, hydraulics, geotechnics, buildings, MEP and
technological systems in general;
Interactive technical meetings with the Contractor and the Client;
Periodic visits to the sites of the infrastructure, in coordination with the on-site Work
Supervision Team.
